Football fans can support their team and fight hunger at the 4th annual Hunger Bowl, which takes place on October 1st during Boise State Bronco’s game against the Nevada Wolf Pack . Fans can bring non-perishable food donations or cash donations to the game for the Boise Rescue Mission, the Salvation Army of Boise and The Idaho Foodbank, three organizations on the front line of fighting hunger in Idaho.

Volunteers and staff from each organization will collect canned food and monetary donations at tailgating events and pregame gatherings in Julia Davis Park, along Broadway Avenue, University Drive and other areas near the campus. Food bins and totes will also sit at each stadium entrance.

With BSU fans and supporters from all three organizations participating, Hunger Bowl 2011 is set to be even more successful than before!
