Hope you will join us for the  4th annual Hunger Bowl!

Participation is easy.  Simply bring any non-perishable food item to the game and drop off at one of the many donation locations. Also we will have staff and volunteers on hand all over the pre-game excitement accepting food and cash donations. Some of the most-needed items are, soup, canned meats,  pasta, canned fruits, canned vegetables, cereal and canned meals.

Even if you are not attending the game you can still participate by finding us in the parking lot before the game. Swing by, say hi and show your support in the effort to relieve hunger in Idaho. When you come down be sure to bring a can, even if its one can, every can helps us in our effort to gather as much food as possible.  Food is at an all-time low for all three organizations, at the same time the need for emergency food is increasing.  With your help we can provide hunger-relief to many Idahoans that so desperately need it.

And for those fans, for either team, who don’t attend the game, new this year is a virtual food drive competition. Bronco and Wolf Pack fans anywhere can click on the below scoreboard and choose your team’s logo to make a cash donation. This pre-game rivalry will be highlighted on the Hunger Bowl “scoreboard”  leading up to the official game day. All Wolf Pack donations will go to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. All Boise State donations will be used for hunger relief in Idaho.

Oh, and one more thing…. I hear Nevada thinks they can raise more food and funds than Idaho…
